Working to Fight Hunger One Day at a Time

Our Mission

The mission of Blessed Angels Community Center is to fight hunger in San Antonio, TX and surrounding communities through healthy and nutritional food distribution. We are here to provide educational programs and resources while giving hope and compassion to citizens in need of food assistance and make sure no child or citizen goes to bed hungry.

Assisting Low-Income and Homeless Veterans

We are dedicated to extending a helping hand to homeless, low-income, and at-risk veterans and their families with emergency food assistance and clothing. As a partner of the American GI Forum - National Veterans Outreach Program, Inc., we participate in their Annual Veterans Stand Down, giving out food and toiletries to more than 1,000 homeless veterans.

We Are the Host Site for Seniors 60 and Over

As the host site for senior citizens, we are committed to serving the senior community. We have a special monthly distribution of healthy nutritional groceries and fresh vegetables for the elderly and their families. In addition, we provide resources to help them maintain their independence while living a healthier and better life.

Serving Families in Need

Our passion is helping those in need. We offer emergency food assistance weekly by appointment, and each family receives a variety of nutritional perishable and nonperishable food items.

We are partners with the  Texas Diaper Bank

We Now Provide Baby and Adult Diapers and Wipes. Working to change the lives of babies, children with disabilities, and seniors in the Greater San Antonio Area. Please call for an appointment.
